It's my very first facial, what should I expect?
Let us know your skin care goal, then just relax and we will do our magic! We will perform skin analysis and consultation before selecting the appropriate treatment and home care regiment for you. Your skin and body may be different each visit so we may adjust your treatment plan accrodingly. The end result is to give you the glowing, healthy skin that everyone envious !
How often should I get facials?
Our skin renews itself every 4 weeks, so thererfore once a month is the magic number for facials if you don’t suffer from breakouts or other major skin issues. If you do have problematic skin, you may need to do a course of treatments close together to treat the problem and then you can go once a month to maintain.
Absolutely! You may experience unexpected temporary skin condition such as pigmentation and minor break out during pregnancy due to hormonal changes. We will select the appropriate pregnancy safe products for all of our expecting and/or nursing mothers. Having your facial massage relaxes your body and mind, it is beneficial to our litte "baby spa clients" in the making as well.
Can I get a facial while pregnant?
Please take a photo of your current skin care regiments during your first visit. We would like to know what you are using at home and plan for a more appropriate home care regimen after your initial treatment. We also advise all of our clients - especially male clients - to come in with unshaved face. It will prevent skin sensitivity during facial.
What should I do to prepare for my facial?
Can I receive a facial waxing on the same day as my facial?
Yes! Waxing is always done first, prior to your facial, for the utmost comfort and safety of your skin. Any areas waxed will be carefully avoided during your facial exfoliation so as not to further irritate the skin.
As for our male clients, If you do suffer from sensitivity after shaving, it is recommended that you do not shave immediately before your facial.
