YOU SNOOZE, YOU LOSE.
The alarm clock rings.
You think "Too early."
You hit the snooze button.
"...just ten more minutes..."
STOP. RIGHT. THERE.
What you just did? You've failed the very first task of your day - getting up. FAILED.

Fragmented sleep (which is what you get by hitting the snooze button over and over) is less restorative and will result in daytime impairment, making you perform poorly throughout the day.
Instead of hitting the snooze button, adopt a more regular sleep schedule: wake up at the same time every morning to create a sleep-wake pattern that'll come naturally after a while (yes, that means even on weekends you should wake up at this very same time - but hey - that gives you an even longer saturday!)
NOW: SMILE + DANCE + BREATHE
Once the alarm clock rings, put on some happy morning music (whatever makes YOU happy!), and SMILE. You don't need to smile to anyone in particular or for any reason, just the fact of smiling - even if its 'faked', will improve how you feel & reduce stress. Try it out right now - it really works! While you are smiling, open up the curtains, greet the day, open the window, breathe in some fresh air, and start dancing to your favorite song (you can at least dance to the bathroom instead of walking, if you really don't have any minute to spare).

All those tiny little steps - that can be easily integrated into your morning routine without taking up more time - will work wonders as they boost your mood, increase circulation and get you off a wonderful start in the day!
