How to keep your skin glowing after your facial

Remember to drink plenty of water

Hydration is key to all of your body's mechanisms. The Institute of Medicine changed recommendations from 8 cups to 11+ for women and 15+ for men in 2004

 

 

 

Cleanse very carefully with a gentle cleanser to avoid irritating your skin

Avoid too hot water or exfoliation more than once a week.

 

 

 

Wear sunscreen

Your skin is especially photosensitive after your facial.

 

 

 

Avoid touching your face.

Touching your face transfers oils, dirt + bacteria from your hands to your face.

 

 

Cleanse your diet.

You are what you eat - your diet provides the nutrients that will be absorbed by your skin.

 

 

Schedule a follow-up facial.

A facial every 6-7 weeks helps keep your skin clean and remove build-up of dead skin cells.
